CO2 Laser Marking Machine:A CO2 laser marking machine, also known as a carbon dioxide laser marking machine, uses a laser beam to create permanent marks on the surfaces of various materials. The marking effect is achieved by evaporating the surface material to reveal the deeper layers, thus engraving intricate patterns, trademarks, dates, logos, or text. Principle of CO2 Laser Marking Machines:

The CO2 laser uses CO2 gas as the medium. CO2 and other auxiliary gases are filled into the discharge tube, and a high voltage is applied to the electrodes. This generates a glow discharge in the tube, causing the gas to release a laser with a wavelength of 10.64 µm. After amplifying the laser energy, it is focused by a scanner and an F-Theta lens. Under the control of a computer and a laser marking control card, the laser can mark images, text, numbers, and lines on the workpiece according to the user’s requirements.

CO2 Laser Marking Machines come with two types of emission tubes:

  • Glass Tubes: These require regular replacement and have lower operating costs but are more cumbersome to maintain.

  • Metal Tubes: These offer more stable performance, longer lifespan, and are generally maintenance-free, though they are more expensive.
